Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

It's Christmas break at the Calvin Finishing School for Girls, and the students are planning a big party while the president of the school is away. A group of boys show up and the fun begins, until mysterious killer starts bumping off couples one by one. The police show up and promise to keep everyone safe, but they prove ineffectual against the crazed psycho. Could the killings have anything to do with the girl who was killed in an initiation stunt at the school a few years earlier?

I didn't mind how predictable it was. It IS a really bad movie though and that becomes more obvious the more I watch it.

Oh I do too. But I think I'm done showing it to others. I'll just watch it by myself around Christmas each year. (lol)

I feel like I tried to watch this and really didn't like it... But I could be mixing it up since I barely remember anything beyond it being cheap (even by 80s standards), the characters being underdeveloped, etc.

Though i think it's this based on the title

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

You should watch it all the way through this December (or sooner). It's a hot mess and the characters DO mostly suck but it's still entertaining. Something like this doesn't need great characters anyway (though they do help matters).

They're not Stagefright '87 levels of awesome but they're not the worst of the 80s. Plus, VHS rips were TERRIBLE quality and the darkness and fuzziness drowned out the blood. The newest release looks much better. I actually like the kills more now. :P

I didn't say worst (Halloween 5 does exist), just lame. I've seen way worse, but not all that much about this worked which makes it a bit hard to enjoy. Though as said, I'm not even sure I'm not mixing this up with some other movie (did the winter in this basically look like summer?)

I love the cover art for it and this film if it can be seen uncut sure gore would be better. David Hess did a decent job with the budget he had for it. Characters were annoying though and very stupid. Ending was kind screwed up but overal I now give it a 6/10. Have it on vhs only.

Watched it again tonight and it is STILL a hot mess but it's usually really fun. Mrs. Ranzoni should've been the lead (no fucks given if I've already said that - she was a hell of a lot more amusing than just about all the other characters in this! (lol) ).
