![]() On May 12th, Vista Pacific Flight 7500 departs Los Angeles International Airport bound for Tokyo. The take-off is routine but what transpires over the next ten hours is anything but ordinary. As the overnight flight makes its way over the Pacific Ocean, the passengers encounter what appears to be a supernatural force in the cabin. Edited by Vanessa, Sep 7 2015, 09:07 PM.

The ending is definitely aggravating enough that it overshadows everything I did like about the movie. The stuff with the plane having problems was all really great, but it went downhill so fast that I wish I had just turned it off before the end. |

COUNTERPHOBIA: The pursuit of situations and instances in direct relation to an individual's fear for the purpose of overcoming this fear, or to find pleasure or excitement in it. Symptoms of counterphobia while subjecting oneself to these fears can include trembling or shaking, shortness of breath, and even panic attacks. You were warned. WELCOME HOME tells the tale of John Lester, a man who inherits his old family home - and with it a dark secret. CHUCKLES THE CLOWN delves into Jake's fear of clowns and gives him even more reason to be afraid of them. NO ONE LIVES FOREVER follows Jacob as he narrowly avoids a fatal accident though finds out there's more to it than he thought. Face your fears as you read through these stories and more in this menagerie of works that includes a little something for all kinds of horror fans. I think you'd at least enjoy the turbulence and stuff with the plane, which was actually really awesome. If it was only an hour long, I'd be raving about how great it is. |

I actually watched it two nights ago. :p. I actually really liked it - even the ending - but I agree that the first 45 minutes or so was the strongest part of the film. I hate that the ending felt super rushed. They should've drawn that section out longer to pace it out and increase the impact. The execution bothered me more than the twist itself. I'll go into the cast and all that after I finish NOES5. :p. But yeah, I liked it more than everyone else did, it seems. |

Not including stuff in my previous post but yeah, this was actually really good, surprisingly. I love the random group of characters ranging from a 'goth' loner chick to a snobby germaphobe bitch to a girl dealing with pregnancy issues to a mysterious 'businessman' to a stewardess having an affair with the pilot. They all kept this VERY interesting and fun to watch with their occasional quirkiness, typical but decent storylines, and interactions. Jacinta was definitely my favorite. Scout did great here; barely even recognized her and all the RZH haters will be glad to know she is actually one of the characters who cry/panic the LEAST here! Plus, her style was sexy as hell, haha. Some characters were super annoying but they still added to the fun of this. None of the jumpscares got me, I was never genuinely creeped out, and as much as I honestly LOVE the structure and storyline, the twists were predictable and some things were very poorly timed. Overall, it was pretty decent for a film of its kind. Not scary, not SUPER thrilling, but the setting and characters (I'd love to see another group like them in the next Final Destination) and some - not all - aspects of the story made this worth watching. I just wish they had bulked up the ending, made the scares really effective, and upped the violence a bit. I still recommend it for a one time viewing at the very least though. ![]() 6-6.5/10 quality. 7.5/10 entertainment. Slightly above average but some tweaks would've made it REALLY good. |

I had been looking forward to this movie and I wasn't disappointed when I saw it last night. I love just about anything Takashi Shimizu has to offer in the horror field. The only character I could've done without was the wife who loathed germs, she was annoying. I have to say I was probably the only one here who enjoyed how the twist was presented, I was shocked to say the least. |

I wasn't THAT shocked due to the structure of it. Seconds after they mentioned Spoiler: click to toggle I wish it'd been longer. 76 minutes before the end credits? Blah. ![]() And I loved the wife for the entertainment factor. And her hair; I liked her hair.

I didn't like the wife who had germ phobia, her personality because of that phobia towards other people got on my nerves. I did like the goth chick who managed to put her in her place a couple of times. |

The goth chick was Jacinta. She was my favorite partially because of how she acted toward the bitchy wife lol. |

My favorite character was Suzy. Pretty much any role Jamie Chung does, she excels in. |

This was a blast...for the first 40 or so minutes, then it began to slow down, but even that was fine...but in the end the finale left much to be desired and me scratching my head and I HATE the very end. Fun characters, good atmosphere, and decent writing- but terrible pay off in the end. Still gets a solid 7/10 from me. |

![]() YAY you liked it. I knew you did but I didn't expect higher than a...5/10 from you. Agreed about the final scene though Spoiler: click to toggle Here's to hoping that when we get this on DVD, it'll have an extended version or at least 10+ minutes of deleted scenes to help it!

Adding a bit more into it- I really enjoyed Jamie Chung and just about all the actors in their roles. The characters were extremely enjoyable and likable, even the snooty wife character was someone I loved to hate. Everything about the film was a good time, like I said before, the first 40 minutes were great then things began to slow down and the film sadly hit a snag during the climax which I did not care for. I kinda wish it would have been somewhat brutal but I know that goes against the plot of the film. The twist was pretty predictable now that I look back but it still got me nevertheless. Scout Taylor Compton rocked, she was my favorite and it was nice seeing her play something other than Laurie Strode. I'd definitely buy it and would love to see it finally get a release. |

This wasn't too bad. It felt heavily inspired by The Twilight Zone. Even though I thought the ending was pretty obvious Spoiler: click to toggle it snuck up on me way too fast, at not much past the hour mark, I was expecting it to go longer.

Yeah. Like I keep saying, this really should've been at least 90 minutes. 70-something before the credits is too short. I was really surprised to see this on one of the Bloody Disgusting staff members' Best Of 2014 list. |
