Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A photographer for a men's magazine is disturbed by a recurring dream he has that he is killing his models by various gruesome means. Then he discovers that his city is being terrorized by a slasher who is stalking and murdering women on the streets. He begins to suspect that he may actually be the killer.

There's a name I haven't seen in a long time - Joanna Pettet. Last time I saw her, she was in and 80s episode of Knight Rider, and that was bad by anyone's standards. Nothing to do with her though, just the plot. Which fortunately I can't remember a thing about. Which might be a good thing.

Anyhoo. Sounds interesting too.

It is now. I also just found out Jeana from RHOC is in it (love) I'd be willing to bet her role is small though.

So this was pretty decent, if you don't go into it expecting your typical 80's slasher. It's slightly predictable, but I liked the main character Adrian, and it was interesting to see him starting to spiral and lose his mind. My favorite character was definitely Lewis the gay guy though. He was clearly there for comic relief, but I liked him anyway lol. I liked Mindy too, and her first date with Adrian was actually cute, as opposed to how cheesy their later scene on the beach was (lol)

I didn't like B.J. much, but you weren't really suppose to, so that's fine. Bambi should have had more screentime, she was adorable <3

As for the kills, there's really only one that stands out and it involves a snake and a garbage bag, and was actually quite disturbing (wary) The rest were basic and a bit bland, but since this isn't your normal 80's slasher, the kills weren't really a selling point for this, so that's fine. It also felt giallo-ish at times <3

Overall, I liked it *shrug* And while I said it's a bit on the predictable side, and the whole 'dream' aspect got pretty repetitive, I'm just glad

and while I guess that wouldn't have been a horrible ending reveal, I'm glad it was something else.
