Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A group of forest rangers go camping in the woods, and trespass into an area where a backwoods mama likes to kill people who come onto her turf.

It had some okay moments I guess but the pacing kind of sucked, the villain wasn't all that intimidating and from what I can remember, there were a couple too many survivors. :P

Lol, random. If only some of the better ones that are VERY hard to find would get bluray releases.

Okay, this desperately needed more kills. They did use the forest location perfectly, and it had that perfect 80s slasher atmosphere, and I liked some of the characters, but I cant say I really....loved it, or liked it for that matter. It was a somewhat fun watch, andthere is something about it that's charming, but Definitely towards the bottom when it comes to killer in the woods slashers, as far as im concerned.

On the plus side though, there were a couple hot guys to look at, and it was nice seeing a black girl, since well...theyre pretty rare when it comes to 80s slashers, especially ones with a british accent :P

I agree with you both lol. This was an okay watch but not an awesome film and certainly not something I'd wholeheartedly recommend. I DO plan on rewatching it sometime though since its been well over a year or two. Chances are my eventual rewatch will be the last time i sit through it though.

That said John and Jared, I think you both would agree-

The opening > the rest of the movie lol

I just viewed this for the first time. Not bad backwoods slasher,
but I agree it needed more kills/deaths and was also surprised
to see a younger, Daryl Hannah in it.
