Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Drama students decide to pay tribute to their favorite horror star by stealing his body from his crypt for a farewell party. They fail to realize their violation of the tomb has triggered powerful black magic, and Conrad hasn't taken his final bows yet.

I can barely read the tagline since it's so stretched out but from what i can see, the poster is good looking. The plot is interesting too.

This was good, but definitely not an 80s gem. The death scenes aren't bad, we get someone set on fire, a decapitation with a sword, and a girl smashed with a coffin are the stand outs. Basically its worth a watch, but if you don't see it, you're not really missing anything. I like the story, but Terror Night aka Bloody Movie (1987) was similar, and I thought was better. Im glad I watched this though.

Considering having a double feature of this and Frightmare (1974) even though I doubt they have anything to do with eachother. :P

Ended up watching this, but not in a double feature with the 1970s movie. :P

"GOODNIGHT SWEET PRINCE OF HAM!"

I like how a lot of scenes had a bit of a dreamlike look and feel to them. Some characters, especially Conrad had a pretty cool 'classic Horror' look to them too. Conrad was a pretty interesting villain, gotta love those killer actors/directors/etc! (thumbsup) It was also great that he had a video of himself recorded because he didn't want anyone else to be the 'star' at his funeral. LolThat'sTotallyMe.
Odd how the seven friends who stole his body for a party to celebrate his life and career are the ones who pissed him off. (wary) One would think that Conrad would have a sense of humor when it comes to twisted things like that. The dancing with the body was going a bit too far though, I would've been pissed too.
It was funny that the wife was mainly to blame for the killings. Most of the guys here were hot as fuck, especially Oscar and Stu. The kills (and exploding coffin) were odd but satisfying and fit with the oddball/supernatural-ness of the film. The fog and darkness actually added to the movie unlike many that are so pitch black that I cant see a damn thing going on (here's to you, Bloodstalkers!). The random echoing/repeating at the end of some lines was sooo cheesy! (shock)
I liked the fumes scene but they really should've had the crypt contain bigger, better, bloodier traps (think Dracula 2000 traps). The

Meg was also...really boring, useless, and definitely not a great main girl. Ew. She had a great scream though, I'll give her that. *Shrug*

Haven't seen this yet, though I'm interested to. Mainly for Jeffrey Combs as a slasher movie victim

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
