While watching:
Spoiler: click to toggle Watching this now and I certainly hope it's better than the other four slashers I've watched the past day or so. I already really like the setting. Digging up a coffin (?) that's probably cursed. This surely won't end well for anyone. I love the director's name. Peter Buffa. Stock coyote howl, figures. Uhm THAT'S A SNAKE! BYE! The footage is extremely dark to the point of the whole screen being black and I can hardly make out what's going on. Blah. Here's hoping we get some more DAYTIME scenes since the one earlier looked great. Repeated dog barking, hurrah@ So far the musical score is okay but just that; okay. So I'm thinking this guy just got stabbed to death or something but I could hardly tell since the screen is almost pitch black. Loving this old woman and her lines like this; "CRAZY! THATS WHAT YOU ARE...CRAAAAZY!" Not writing much since I have to keep my eyes completely glued to the film or else I'll miss something. Still pretty much pitch black. 7 minutes of it now. I don't ever want to hear bitching about Alien Vs Predator: Requiem being "too dark" ever again. Oh well, this isn't Ghost Dance's fault. WOAH WUT! BRIGHT COLORS! RED! EEK! Nooo, don't kill that lady. D: EEK chilling scream, pretty decent throat slashing though I didn't see much of the blood. Finally, it's daytime again in the world of The Ghost Dance. I like this ALOT so far, minus the darkness. WOAH, ferocious, bloody dog attack. Omg girl just got FUCKED up by that dog, my goodness. O_O The acting is pretty decent so far and I'm really digging this classroom lecture. I wonder how many (if any) of these students will be killed off. 3 deaths in just the first sixteen minutes and I'm 20 minutes into it. Hopefully the kill count climbs to at least 11 or 12 by the end of the film, I'll be satisfied then. Hell, I'll be satisfied if the bodycount is like...7 or 8 as long as the deaths are as good as these last two. I have a feeling the stabbing/snakebite kill was good too but I couldn't SEE it at all soo... I hope this gets a Blu Ray release, I betit'd look beautiful. HA! "I'm afraid even the ghost dance couldn't bring you back to life ^_^" I love her. I love all these shots of the killer on the hills. That injury with the flatbed was pretty cool. WOO, this movie has an official Crazy Ralph-esque doomsayer man! :D I like this panning shot of the room with the cool stuff on the walls and UHOH, someone's getting laid. =U DEAD, they just fucked in what looks like some kind of carraige. OH SHIT. That impalement O_O That's actually pretty awesome. I really hope this isn't one of those films that kills like...2/3rds of its victims in the first 30 minutes lol. "C'mon Carol lets not play games" Sorry hun, Carol's dead. EEK, glass shards and being pushed around. OW, pushing it in! Seems painful. Wait...was that a dream? Huh? Ew, I HOPE it wasn't a dream. This setting is amazing. The museum, desert, even the university<3. Ha, those sirens sound EXACTLY like the ones in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3. Decent enough dialogue scene followed by a shot of the discovered body...and now it's getting really dark again, urgh. EEK that music. O_O Good, she snapped out of that. Awh cute cat! Oh dear, shower scene. THIS is probably not going to end well. Oh nevermind. Just a strangely adorable cat "false alarm" (not a scare). "They often believe the spirit of the dead entered the doll!" Oh God, if this randomly turns into a killer Indian doll movie I'll die inside. Almost halfway over already. The general atmosphere of this film is actually pretty eerie. And did I already say how fond I am of the musical score? Oh well, I'll say it again. It's great for the most part. A welcome relief to the clunky, overly synthesized scores of quite a few other slashers. Kay really needs to learn not to follow disembodied voices down hallways and things. PAUL WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?! LOL! Yikes, the dead Indian looks like a mummy made of clay D: Her attack in the vehicle, eek. This police station scene is pretty well done as well. "I'm not going to waste my time looking for some mystery man in the desert :D " Lol, go away cop. X_X The line "You'd be surprised at what people do doctor, with or without a full moon" is golden. Two murders? More like five. Learn to count or learn to properly find bodies please. I almost don't mind that this IS turning into one of those 80s slashers where over half of the kills are in the first 30 minutes, mainly because the dialogue is decent, there's a good amount of suspense and I love Kay to death. 29 minutes left. Dude looking at the body of the...uh shit...lights just went out on him and he's so about to get aced. Thrown like a ragdoll and rolling and YES YES YES, this musical score<3. Ouch! Right in the spine, poor dude. Mk so these kills are NOT dreams. The dude is just...seeing them in his sleep WHILE they're happening. Mk got it. Wow. 35 minutes between Kill #5 and Kill #6 and it really did NOT feel like that big of a gap. Props to this movie for making time go by rather quickly. 23 minutes left. Loving the stuff with the older guy in the desert filling people in on the legends and what exactlyy is going on. "This is not a school, and I am not a teacher." I like that line though it's not insanely great or whatever. Ooh, I certainly hope this does well with the "Grey before the sun, the first light" stuff. If the climax takes play during the dawn hours I'll rush out to buy this bitch. Oh dear, I have a feeling she's gonna see a body after remoing those X-Ray scan things. AAAAAAAH SWEET MERCY! Body under a shit accompanied by a VERY appropriately timed musical stinger. I approve. AWH HE FOOLIN HER! Aaaaand we're off. I have a feeling this chase scene is going to last most of the last seventeen minutes. I certainly hope so. Please don't have a bad ending, please don't have a bad ending, please don't have a bad ending... Girl you really shouldn't lean against something that illuminates your full body like that. X_X Just keep creeping on out of the place, get outside and then BOLT! Oops, she started the voice recording. The bird calls and narration of the recorded guy = actually helping this scene a little bit. Creepy ass birds, haha. Oh. My. God. THAT SHOT OF THE INDIAN IN FRONT OF THE BIRD! Looks like HE has big angelic wings. Awesome shot. Hmm. Actually seems like *maybe* Kay will end up dying. I love how the killer has such cold, hard expressions. Sure he's far from intimidating, but he's still a good killer. ooh, seems he has a bit of a crush on her. DONT END UP LIKE THAT STEWARD WOMAN, KAY! GET OUTTA THERE! (crying) Kay girl, you ain't acting right. >_> Lol, that almost made me jump, her attaccking him. Almost. EEP love the shot of the body falling out, Crazy Ralph from F13 Part II style! OHSHITKAYWHATCHUDOIN!!! I have a bad feeling about him being so close to that fire. Oh well, I trust that he knows what he's doing. Four minutes left. Hmm. Still not entirely sure what will happen. I LOVE how the killer's eyes look right now and how the fire is repelling him. Oh GOD those screams are actually a tad dsisturbing lol. LOL Kay just got knocked da fuck out! EXPLODIN' AND LIT ON FIRE! OW OW OW. O___________________O DAT ENDING! Love how the corpse grabbed him and she's still "evil" and probably tore his ass UP with that scalpel lol. Bravo! *applause*
Thoughts:
For the most part, this was a pretty well done and suspenseful little slasher film. Sure, it's extremely simple with it's concept but is far from bainless and the dialogue actually managed to keep me even more interested than the kills. Kay was a pretty good lead and the killer was effective as well. The deaths, while not plentiful, were harsh enough to keep me satisfied and the same goes for the museum chase and several of the characters. My MAIN complaint is the quality of the Youtube upload. Some scenes are so dark that you can hardly tell what's happening. Still though, that's not the fault of the film or its creators. Just a sad example of how time isn't all that kind to VHS transfers and prints. :p Overall, this is certainly worth a watch and I have a feeling I'd like it even more if it'd had at least one of two more deaths. 7.5-8/10

Don't remember this one, but the plot seems decent enough. Not sure about the poster though.

This wasnt bad. I didnt completely love it though. I liked the desert setting, and i liked Kay, the lead girl, but i had a hard time staying interested. It might have been cause the night scenes were so dark though, cause the story wasnt bad at all. A few creepy scenes, and a few decent kills, but other than that it was nothing id need to see again. I did love the chase through the museum, and the ending scene though.
