Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

"Nothing I like better than a little..."
*Picks up mannequin head*
"Head!"

Plot:
A boarding house is reopened years after gruesome murders were committed there. Suddenly, the body count begins once more!

This movie was so fucking WEIRD LOL! It was enjoyable, hardly effective (except for one bit involving eye gouging, YIKES! D:), and had some of the worst effects and acting ever. The sad thing is that the film pretty much tried hard to be scary. I loved Victoria (unless she was screaming like a monkey), her dream chase, the crappy cheesy electrocution that made me laugh out loud, Cindy's walk into the surf, and some of the quotes including this gem: "My pillow killin' mah head! I got the worst hangover! *cries* I NEED COFFEEEEE." This also had alot of rape-y stuff and telekinesis and girls screaming for literally 60+ seconds straight. My ears bled, seriously. My mom thought I was watching a porn, there was so much screaming in scenes and weird moaning playing over non-sexual things. The typed up intro was also cool but WAY too long. Love it. 3/10 when it comes to quality. 6/10 for being entertaining and laughable.

Yeah, this was really weird. It was horrible, yet I was entertained. Definitely so-bad-its-good.

That is exactly how I would describe it.

I have this on DVD. However, I have not sat through the whole DVD, I turned it off as it was too weird for me. From memory I think I only lasted about 10 or 20 minutes. Is it worth watching all the way through?

Well since you own a copy you might as well sit through the whole thing.

What I want to know is...

Why does this have two (maybe even three) different special edition releases?! (lol)

I heard the director says on one of the DVD's that he's planning a sequel.

Nope. Really bad low budget effort, originally shot on video then transferred to 35mm film, and its cheapness shows -- not just in the quality of the image, but also in the direction, story and acting. A real dud.

I didn't care for it but I'll give it another shot sometime.

And yeah, one special edition is from 2008 and another is from 2013 or 2015. There may even be a third. At least one or two are from the distributor that released Satan's Blade and (I think) Killer Workout. At least one is a two disc edition.

I bought the two disc edition from Slasher Video and it came yesterday.

It says the theatrical version is 98 minutes and the director's cut is 157 minutes. That can't be right. What the fuck is that extra hour?!
