Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

I'm probably the only person that cares about football (the American variety), so I'll just leave this here, then go wallow in my misery.

You are NOT the only one my friend!

I tend to follow the college game more than the NFL, simply because I fear my hometown team (St. Louis Rams) are being groomed to become the NFLs first European team in 2016. I know Goodell wants to expand to Europe in the worst way possible, and I think the Rams are London bound after 2015.

In college football, I tend to follow the Big Ten the most, followed by the SEC and the PAC-10.

I try to follow college, but there's always so much going on in all the divisions, it's kind of hard to keep up. And I heard about that, I'd honestly feel better if the Jaguars went to London, Florida's already got the Dolphins and the Bucs.
But look at it this way: at least they're not the 2008 Detroit Lions...

I'm a huge Jets fan, but I was always a bigger fan of Ray Lewis. You have no idea how hype I was when they won that last Lombardi for him.

We dont get American footy here but one of my nephews did a semester at Purdue University and he's totally hooked on it.

I watch Rugby, but usually only when the All Blacks play so I can watch the haka. Love it!!!

I looked at the title and thought it was about proper football, not rugby with padded players :-( Anyone like English football, because this thread should be renames to American Football

I kinda agree, but I love English football, being English. Also do you think that American Football is basically Rugby with ten tonne of padding?

No I dont think there is any real comparison between rugby and gridiron. I dont know the rules of gridiron so I'm no expert, and as I said earlier, I watch rugby and like it but not a diehard - I mainly watch it for the haka and to pick who is going to win purely based on that, but rugby seems a hell of a lot tougher to me. The gridiron players, from what I understand, arent on the field for long. Ruggers are on for the entire match unless they get sin binned. On a fitness scale and raw toughness I would put my money on rugby union players.

Rugby union - a thugs game for gentleman
Rugby league - a gentleman's game for thugs.

Out of all the footy styles I find Union to be the most primal and that's what I like about it.

I'm not a huge rugby fan but I agree with your point. Do you follow any English football teams?
