Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Raze, a horror/action film, focuses on two abducted women & 50 other women who are forced to fight each other using their bare hands.

If it's on Netflix, I'll go for it. Otherwise, I'll rummage around the $5 bin at Walmart unless I can find it reasonably priced elsewhere.

Can't you see it? The effects of cinema violence on society?

Well I'm sure its pretty cheap on Ebay. I got it for $10 there like....2 or 3 days after it was released on DVD. It wont be in the $5 bin at Walmart any time soon, and I doubt its on Netflix.

Ah, okay. I'll do some exploring soon. Nik's a fan of Tracie Thoms so maybe he'll see it with me.

It's pretty awesome and Tracie was amazing in it. I also liked Zoe Bell which surprised me since I thought she would be my least favorite.

If you see it enjoy!

Psh I knew I'd love Zoe but I figured that Rebecca Marshall (betcha didn't know she was Suzanne in Saw 3D!), Rachel Nichols, Sherilynn Fenn and Tracie Thoms would all outshine her. I'm glad that I was wrong. :P Sabrina<333

I love Zoe Bell, especially since watching Double Dare. Her acting has really improved. She was great. I want her to be in everything now. The rest of the cast was great, too. I even got a little misty during a scene with Teresa and Cody.

I haven't talked about it much on here, but I'm a big fan of martial arts films. The fights were fantastic. I watched a lot of them at half speed or slower, and they were impressively seamless. I've seen a lot bigger movies that don't do nearly as good of a job.

The things I didn't like (I nitpick out of love):
-The opening card with the statistics about missing women. That's only okay if the film is very literally about something that happens in the real world. Otherwise, it's cheap and tasteless.
-The mangling of Greek/Roman history didn't piss me off as much as I thought it would, bit it still really annoyed me. I can overlook it, but it still irks a little. It doesn't help that they used the bit of theology that I'm most interested in.
-I wasn't thrilled with the ending.

There's a woman in Survivor: Cook Islands who sort of resembles Tracie Thoms in this. =U

Just rewatched this and the Phoebe vs Sabrina fight disappoints me even more. Especially with all the anticipation and build up.

I'm watching it right now, and I'm turning it off at 1:24:57. I'm just going to ignore those last seven minutes, which makes it a much better film.

That's the point, haha. It's like the final fight in Kill Bill Volume 2. We get a long build up and then BOOM, the fight itself is over in 30 seconds.

I ordered this movie from Amazon. But I don't consider this movie horror, only suspense.
