Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Good guy is scarier to me since he's so innocent looking. That what makes horror- taking the ordinary and making it scary.
^Exactly why I chose Good Guy over Stitches

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

Stitches is kind of cheesy.

In all honesty, I'd prefer the Good Guy look, it makes him look more sinister with that normal looking face "masking" the true monster beneath him. I would agree with what Dead Sorority had said five years before me:

That is so true. The horror in a horror film is taking the ordinary and making it scary, much like in Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt, in that film a friendly uncle turns out to be a cold-hearted serial killer in that film. It shows how even the most ordinary, and good-looking person may turn out to be a horrifying and murderous monster underneath the facade. That and the fact that he had published that threat on my 20th Birthday. :P

In a fun fact, I had - and still do - own a My Buddy doll, even though people had pointed out to me as a kid that it was like Chucky, but as a lil kid I had adamantly insisted that it was not, that seemed to prove that I knew the difference between right and wrong back then. But even then when I had first watched the first film on DVD back in 2006 at age 13, I had feeling of like "Something is not right about this Chucky doll, I do not know what it is, but it has been a bad influence to Andy ever since it had entered his life." But yea, that's just me. :P
