Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Such a fun, awesome little slasher. Can't go wrong with Betsy Russell! (love) I must show this to Robby. He'll get a kick out of it, I'm sure.

Haven't seen it really but willing to give this a try. As I wasn't familiar with Betsy Russell before the SAW franchise.

Back then, I was into Heather Langenkamp and Neve Campbell though.

This movie will always have a spot in my heart thanks to USA Up All Night. Bonnie was my favorite.

Now here we have a flick with the word "Cheerleader" in the title. Any lover of the art of drive-in cinema worth his or her salt knows what that means; Tatas. Ya just can't have a flick with Cheerleader in the title without multiple shots of tatas a-kimbo. That's the whole point. I mean after all what else would you want to see cheerleaders up on the screen for, poetry? Shakespeare? To discus the meaning of life? Hell no! We wanna see some tatas.

Ok, so here you've got your folks getting killed off, camp high jinx, and mostly what you'd expect, but...where the hell are the breasts? Alright so maybe there's a little bit of flesh on display, but really? That's it? What the hell kinda Cheerleader flick is this?

It's just not right, I tell ya.

5/10 on the Drive-In-Freak -O-Meter...average stuff. What the hell were they thinking?

So campy, so fun. A late night delight, but I don't remember if I have Rhonda or Gilbert to thank... :D

I enjoyed the movie, but it definitely had some faults, that's for sure! I gave it a 2.5/5 on my site (Cheerleader Camp Review), but stressed that it's still worth a watch. :)

Make sure it's the right one, Michele. Just did a search for it myself, and Netflix gave me the "unavailable to stream" message.

I just can't get into this one. I got the DVD a few years ago and have watched it a few times, thinking it will grow on me, but it gets blander every time I see it. That's too bad. I mean, 80s Betsy Russell!!!!

There was a lot of potential there to be a great late 80s slasher, but I didn't think it delivered much. There were some hot girls and whatnot, but it was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong. It's still worth a watch, but that's about it.
