Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

The main girls in this film were absolutely annoying and unbearable, couldn't stand them at all with their silly practical jokes. I LOVED the mother in this, she was great.

To add a little bit more, the opening kill scene was funny, the girl looked like Lady Gaga, some of the youtube comments agreed with that. Anway the first chunk of the movie is pretty irritating what with the three main girls doing nothing but acting like complte fools, imagine three female Shelly's(from Friday 3) and you got these knuckleheads. Their idiotic behavior really made me detest them so when they got abducted and caught by "Mama" and her boys I were root for Mama. The actress that played the mom was great, a perfect blend of psycho and maternal and there was a ton of black humor in the movie that I enjoyed. The atmosphere was creepy and the two main sons were disgusting to look at, great wardrobe and setting jobs as they really made their "home" and appearances look like crazy dirty hicks. 6/10

If you go to the Troma section on Hulu, you should be able to find this. I stopped watching it like a loser because I was tired of it quickly. On a positive note, the Troma section on Hulu is free so you don't need a premium account to see the movies.
I went to Hulu and there's still a Troma section, but this movie isn't on there any more. Luckily, I found it on YouTube instead.

Spoiler: click to toggle

I recommend seeing this if you like late '70s, early '80s horror. Campy to a fault, but disturbing as well. Just like mama likes it (troll)

I do quite like this movie, but it really does feel like nothing more than a Troma film. That's not a bad thing, but I think Bousman's remake bettered absolutely everything about it. Taking a more serious, honest, mature approach to the story made the remake blow this original way out of the water, if you ask me.

Not a bad backwoods slasher flick.
