![]() The city of Keene, New Hampshire is battling Robin Hood and his Merry Men. A group of men are going around town, putting money into parking meters that are soon to expire. The city claims that the Merry Men are not respectful to the city's three meter cops, and that they are causing them undue stress and trauma. Trauma? Trauma? Really. Its parking meters people. Your thoughts? |

I never understood why it was a crime to put money in someone else's meter. Can someone please explain? One of the dumbest fucking laws, if you ask me. |

I think it's generally an issue because the city needs the money from ticketing people. My grandfather does this every time he parks in front of my building because the city lets anyone with a disability placard park free. It's not legal here, but I think the meter cop lets him get away with it because of all the free entertainment he gives her. |

That's cool they let him do that Yeah. That sounds about right. It's sad though that ticketing people is a major source of most cities' resource for revenue. I used to like Parking Wars until I got ticketed once and later on in life towed. But it's funny, those things only needed to happen once for me to make sure those two things never happened again. I hate parking. |
