Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Yes!!

I hope the art work is really nice. I'm not sure why I try, but I'm still on the hunt for the original posters for 2 and 3. I've seen posters for 2 and 3, but I can't tell if they're official (even if they're European) and I question the authenticity. If anyone can help me with that, the ebay page is gorestoreny. Someone is selling an original promo print for 3, but part of me feels like it might be too good to be true; with it being dirt cheap and near mint or mint.

Oh, and for anyone who wants it--there is a survival kit boxset that appears to be signed by Felissa Rose on ebay. $75 isn't that bad since I've seen sets go for way more.

Well since Scream Factory is behind these releases I'm sure they'll get great artwork and a reversible sleeve. I want retrospectives and new commentaries for both. Itd be nice if they gave us the uncut versions but I won't hold my breath for that. Either way, I'm buying them <3

As for the autographed set, that is a pretty good deal. I'd snatched that up if I didn't already have it. :P

The SCF Facebook replied to me and said they aren't legit and are just the DVD/VHS covers.

Blah. I hope those original posters come back. They were mint and so beautiful. No yellowing. No tape marks. So pissed I didn't try harder with bidding.

I hope it's not a let down, since it's one of the most troubling unanswered questions for me in any series (next to things tied to Cube). Sure it's obvious what happened, but it would be nice to see how it goes assuming it's in canon with the series and not a fan film.

If you have an interest in vinyl, especially if you're a collector, I've been finding copies of some of the music from the first movie appearing on ebay. I've never seen tri-color LPs before, and it looks so radical. I don't know if it's still up for auction, but there is a limited edition white 45 up that has Felissa Rose's autograph, and it looks so sleek and amazing.

If I see any new auctions up, especially for posters, I'll let you all know.

I don't get why Felissa Rose is the one so many people associate with this series. She starred in ONE movie as a teenager and then has a really stupid role in Return, which should NOT count as a canon film, if you ask me.

Pamela Springsteen is the one I think of when I think of this series. She gave that shit her all.

No doubt. Felissa was great in the original Sleepaway Camp, but damn. Pamela is the queen of campy killer chick horror-comedy. "What are you looking for? A gun?"

"No. A drill!" adifadfkhadfkahdfkahdfka

I'm not sure if it's still up on eBay, but another Sleepaway Camp III poster went up and I want to get my paws on it so bad. I'm not sure why they're springing up more than SC II ones, but eh. What can you do?

Oh, and I'm not sure why I'm just finding out about this now, but John Altyn remixed and remastered the soundtrack some time ago, and it's up for sale on iTunes I think. I still have the versions of the trilogy that are on the official website, but jesus...this version of Outta Control sounds mountains better than what I have (I think it was ripped from the movie).
