In this slice-n-dicer acclaimed pop psychologist Dr. David Kelley hosts a radio call-in show in LA. The current topic of discussion is a baffling series of murders that has been occurring throughout the town. All of the victims are beautiful real estate agents. One day he gets a strange call from "Harry," who claims that each of the victims deserved everything they got, because he believes that the real estate agents encourage the further displacement of the poor and homeless. He also describes their murders in detail. When the calls become more frequent, Dr. Kelley becomes even more concerned. He should be because his own lady love is a real estate agent. The film features considerable gore, nudity and simulated sex.

I saw this once awhile back, and thought it was okay. I need to see it again.

I've been seeing this whenever I get on Netflix but I've avoided it for years since I've heard it was atrocious. I'll give it a shot though.

Rented this one back in the day, but don't remember a single thing. Watched the trailer and it looks horrendous. Lol.

Even Adrienne Barbeau wasn't able to save this hot mess of a late 80s slasher. Aside from some pretty women, an interesting looking weapon (seriously, what IS that damn thing?!), and a few decent enough stalk-and-slash sequences in the first act (yes kiddies, this is one of THOSE films, which has half of its kills in the first twenty minutes, sigh), this really didn't have anything going for it.

It dragged bigtime, especially during the action-less second act, and the cute scenes and funny moments got tiring after a while. Then it got to the point where the writers seemed unsure of whether or not they wanted to sculpt a police procedural film, a drama-thriller, or a slasher, and ended up failing on all accounts.

Still, I don't HATE this, but its not something I'll be seeing again anytime soon. Fix the pacing, give us some awesome radio station attack scenes (or even just one short, bloody scene of chaos), cut back on the relationship stuff and police drama, and it would've been *mostly* excellent.

4.5/10 quality. 6/10 entertainment (and I'm being generous here).

By the way, the Mary Lou caller stuff WAS pretty damn funny, i'll admit.

I really didn't think it was THAT bad. I might need to see it again though.

You may like it less the second time around. :P

I have a feeling I'll be able to tolerate it a bit more, ha.

Rewatched it last night. It's really not as bad as most say it is, but it's definitely a 'low tier' slasher. It deserves to be better though because the idea is pretty original as far as I know.

Yes!

I loved the gay guy who worked at the station. "Is it legible? (coffee) " Even though I did find his portrayal a tad bit offensive.
