Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Anything that isn't specific to only ONE film (unless it's a recommendation or something) goes here, including; comparing films to eachother, actors/actresses/writers/directors who were popular in this time, the best films of the decade, the worst films of the decade, and so on.

I used to read their slasher reviews all the time back in 02 and while I still do love them, they've always been sorta picky lol

I need to make it my goal to see all the movies that SlasherIndex mentioned. Oddly enough, one is on XOD and I want to see it, even if it's possibly dreadful.

Can't you see it? The effects of cinema violence on society?

So Im a lazy idiot and don't know if I confirmed that I have read them or not, but I *think* I might still need to check out SlasherIndex, lol. How are they when it comes to reviews and the amount of films they have covered? Sort of worried about them since I really can't remember if I've checked them out yet or not.

I believe his channel is now called VHS Collector if you look him up on youtube. He's pretty good, and was the one that introduced me to the Donna Michele titles among others. He doesn't update a whole lot, but he's fine.

I want to make this the year I try to find the worst of the worst titles out there, and given how my response was to Blood Lake, I don't know for sure if I've hit rock bottom just yet.

Well imo Blood Lake (1987) is pretty much the worst of the worst when it comes to the 80s. Don't fry your brain cells too much though. Make sure to watch at least a few good ones. (lol)

I need help figuring out a name of an 80's horror film. It's a ghost house type of film. The only thing that I can recall that would be descriptive is the ending. Very final destination like: one of the survivors gets hit by a bus!

Edit: I think it's in the mid to late 80's

I recommend seeing The Boxer's Omen*. Originally called Mo, it's definitely a mindfuck of a movie, but a hell of a lot of fun. I need to see the first one, Gu, now.

*The review portion of the URL has spoilers. So, just be aware of that.

Do we have a thread for Crawlspace (1986)? Could've sworn we did but it's not coming up in the search, lol.
