Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

So I was curious, what productions have you kept up with that were/are horror related? Have there ever been a start to finish?

Halloween II (2009) and Final Destination 5 and Evil Dead (2013) are probably the most recent ones.

Scream 4, Prometheus, Return to Sleepaway Camp, Paranormal Activity 3, Prom Night (2008), and Hatchet II. I have since stopped keeping up with horror films productions.

Maybe...

Scream 3 (I remember visiting the movie's Sunrise Studios viral website back in the heyday of AOL and stuff)

The Blair Witch Project (I remember watching the Sci-Fi Channel's, what is now SyFy, Blair Witch special(s) leading up to the movie)

I can't think of any other films right now.

This is hard. If it is something that I'm really excited about, I'll stop looking at stuff related to it once it gets closer to the release date. I get too focused on trying not to be disappointed.

^Anymore, same. It's so easy to get your hopes up. Especially when you read things like "the scariest horror film of all time" with stuff like Hereditary and such. There's hype and then there's extreme hype. I don't want to be influenced to have high expectations. A lot of other people seem to hate that as well. In fact, I feel that's why people end up hating something like The VVitch or The Babadook. Too much was built up for them to actually enjoy the movie, and so they wanted to shit on it to not only go against the hype machine but also feel superior to say the consensus of critics.
