![]() Lola Stone asked Brent Mitchell to the prom, but Brent said no, and now he's screwed. What happens when Lola doesn't get what she wants? She enlists Daddy's help to throw a prom of her own where she is queen and Brent is king, whether he likes it or not. |

Wasn't too effective, while he didn't speak much if at all... he screamed plenty. |

I should probably comment on a few other things. Robin McLeavy's performance wasn't much short of amazing. She was great. John Brumpton's was really good too and the dynamic between the two is what really made the film, imo. This was really far fetched and pretty silly at times, but I don't think it took itself too seriously and made for a really fucking entertaining movie. For something as off the wall as this as well as short, I think they did a pretty good job with character development. I'm glad I watched it. Thank you, Hungry Ghost. |

I 'appreciated' them years before this. Still, some of the stuff here was really nasty so I have to give credit to them.

I thought the same about the subplot when I first watched it too, Spoiler: click to toggle I'm so glad to see all the love for it though. It's right up there in the top echelon of aussie horror cinema (and Aussie cinema in general) of all time. Fantastic performances across the board (especially Lola), great use of music (I've always hated Not Pretty Enough, but it is the perfect song for her),cringe inducing torture scenes and a few surprises. |

Yeah, this is one of the best films of the 2000s, if you ask me. I fucking love it. I love how glossy, pretty, and unique the film is. Lola is such a cool villain. Madison Montgomery, who? |

Both of the leads have been doing well, but I am still hoping that they'll have that big role that raises their profile so that more people know who they are. I could watch this movie a lot more often that I do. It's one of those ones that have enough small touches for multiple watches to be really worth it. It would be good around Valentine's Day, right? |

Shit! I totally should've watched this around Valentines Day since it DOES seem fitting. Oh well. Prom is coming up for most areas so I might as well rewatch this next month (doesn't matter that I'm no longer in high school, shush). |

And I thought Deep Red was brutal in its attacks. ![]() I love the Final Guy, Brent, his girlfriend, Holly, and his best friend, Jamie. I thought Spoiler: click to toggle Great movie. A lot of wincing went on on my part. That's for certain. I loved the characters' different soundtrack choices and introductions. What a backstory for Brent, huh? Very, very sympathetic and one hell of a fighting spirit. On a side note: I feel as if any director could pull off a Motel Hell remake it's this director. |
