Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 because he ruined the character of Laurie Strode.

Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 because he ruined the character of Laurie Strode.
He would've ruined the character if he went back in time and erased H1, H2, H20 and Resurrection. Since he did no such thing and went in a new, different, FAR more realistic direction with Laurie, I do not see it as a case of 'ruining' a character. If anything, Resurrection was far more disrespectful to Laurie, Halloween 5 was far more disrespectful to Rachel, and Halloween 6 was far more disrespectful to Jamie than Halloween 2 (2009) was to Laurie. Just my opinion, not trying to argue. :P

I always thought RZH2 if anything brought Laurie back down to earth and made her realistic. After her parents and friends were brutally butchered of course she's going to be a mess, it personally would have ticked me off if she returned to being the goody two shoes she was in the other movies.

But to each his own. And we better get back on topic and save this for the Halloween section. LOL

Oh yeah, I forgot about that last Hellraiser movie. What was the point of that anyway? No Doug Bradley? No thank you.

White Noise! I'm not quite sure why it angers me so, but it really does and I wish I hadn't wasted an hour and a half watching it. I don't really know why I have such a grudge against it, but guess I must have really been looking forward to it when I was a teenager and then when I watched it years and years later it was just so awful.

I just really wish he hadn't touched Halloween - a completely unnecessary remake in my opinion.

Army of darkness. If evil dead 2 ended with just ASH going inside the paradox without showing where he went, it would've been okay.

I definitely agree Michele. :/ AOD didn't really add much to the series and was flat out stupid.

Agreed so much. The original film (aside from the ending) and the fourth film can stay though. The rest should just be forgotten.
