In the 1930s a horror-comic artist's creations come alive and kill him. Years later a new cartoonist revives the creatures in his house, now part of an artist's colony.

I don't know when or if it's ever going to come to Netflix or Youtube, but I know it's up on Twisted Anger.

Watching this now. Damn, Jeffrey Combs was really hot in the 80s, haha.

^ Ehh.

"I'll wrench out your fingernails one by one! ^_^ "

So this was pretty decent but nothing special and some parts were rather sloppy. Jeffrey Combs was really handsome in this, some of the comic drawings were really good (so I was sad to see some of them burn), the opening credits were nice (I was just expecting them to be plain), and the creature was a nice blend of cheesy and effective. The female characters were probably my favorites overall (and most were really pretty as well). It was mostly well paced but some parts were still clunky. I didn't care for the story all that much but I was mostly entertained the whole time. The blood splashes were well shot, we got some decent gore every now and then, it was shorter than most movies I've seen lately (under 80 minutes), and some of the dialogue was mildly amusing. The balloon/doll/dancing/makeup scene was really bizarre.

5/10 quality, 6/10 entertainment.

An enjoyable enough little horror film. A nice tribute to old horror comics.

This is yet another movie that could only work in the 80's. It was silly and cheesy, and I like that it was pretty much only 70 minutes long, because something like this really doesn't need to be very long for obvious reasons lol. I liked it. I liked Whitney and Mrs. Briggs alot <3

I guess I'm the only one who's not seeing what the fuss is about when it comes to 80's Jeffrey Combs? He's attractive, but not enough for me to point it out like alot have :P

"Death is sad!" (wary)

It's a fun little movie, for sure. I don't know if I'll be rewatching it any time soon, but I enjoyed it.
