| Welcome to Under The Morgue. We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in? A wonderful classic that scares up some palpable suspense before the giant creatures are revealed. And a surprisingly strong cast for this type of film (including a walk-on by a young Leonard Nimoy). A favorite of mine. |

You couldn't be more right! These are the creature flicks I love to watch, and the special effects will often surprise you based on what we know about making movies in this decade.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked watching this movie. The only thing that bothered me was the ending could have packed more of a wallop. It did a bit, but only a bit. Other than that, I highly recommend seeing it. |

Again, another one I don't really consider to be horror. Still one of the very best of these kinds of movies, spectacular effects, great mystery, tons of action and a rather fun air about it, like it doesn't appear as one of these low-budget affairs the rest of the night played but more of a serious attempt at making one of these movies, and it's a lot of fun for that reason. |

Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup? Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs. My review blog: http://donshorrormovieblog.blogspot.com/ | |
