Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

An FBI agent takes on a plane full of deadly and poisonous snakes, deliberately released to kill a witness being flown from Honolulu to Los Angeles to testify against a mob boss.

I have this movie - I'm ashamed to say I still haven't actually watched it yet.

It's a blast of a trip that only David R Ellis could provide. Sucks they never got a sequel off the ground.

I've been meaning to rewatch this for a while now. I've only seen it once or twice and my DVD's been collecting dust on my shelf for like four years, almost. Time to see it again, methinks. (thumbsup)

I remember all the internet buzz about this. I figured it would make even more money than it did. Now sadly, all I ever hear about it is that damned over-quoted 'motherfuckin snakes on this motherfuckin' plane' line that stopped being funny in like...2009.

I'll never forgive Epic Movie for that godawful plane scene. (thumbsdown) I hate when people act like that 'certain quote' was used multiple times in the movie when it was...just once.

It's fun. The best thing to come out of it was that one liner (and that Cobra Starship song)

Watched this for the first time in years last night. It has a lot of stupidly convenient moments, but for the most part it's a fun flick.

I never realized Taylor Kitsch (X-MEN: ORIGINS - WOLVERINE, JOHN CARTER, BATTLESHIP) had an early bit part in this. As the boyfriend joining the mile high club.

This is one movie where I'm really not surprised that it didn't become the hit they were expecting at the time, but also one that I can see becoming a genuine cult classic once the nostalgia cycle hits the 2000s, because it's actually a pretty fun horror-comedy. It never tried to be anything more than that, and it suffered from a threadbare plot and characters, but I liked the cast (including you-know-who), it had a lot of good kills and fun one-liners (including that one), and even the dodgy CGI snakes worked given the sort of B-movie this was aspiring to be. Overall, I'm surprised at how well it held up.

My full review is here.
