Nine people are stuck in a elevator. One person holds a bomb that can't be defused and the remaining eight people are desperate to survive; there is no escape and no promise of a rescue. The solution is unthinkable but their only hope of survival. These people include a pregnant woman, an elderly woman going to a dinner party to commemorate her husband, a corporate CEO and his ten year old grand daughter, an engaged couple comprised of a news reporter and her businessman boyfriend, an overweight businessman, a stand up comedian, and a security guard. One of them is holding the bomb, but who?

I watched this twice a while back and I was VERY impressed. It was raw and realistic, with a group of AMAZING actors (including a couple familiar faces) and some intense scenarios. The way this film was shot = Brilliant. It slowly closes in on you, starting at wide shots of the entire city before settling into the elevator, with a series of close ups and claustrophobic shots. It was incredibly unpredictable, especially when it came to who would live or die, and the situation in general played out like one of those bomb scares that you could read in an article or see on the news. There's some very gutwrenching dialogue and a few scenes that had me on edge bigtime. I seriously loved this. Go watch it, don't let the tacky poster fool you. 8/10

I loved the variety of characters. Who was your favorite jon? My favorite is the comedian. I agree it was pretty unpredicable. I really hated that little girl. I was disappointed about the very end though.

My favorites were the old woman and pregnant woman. I didn't really dislike anyone except for the comedian and little girl though.

This reminds me of Devil. I might watch it if it's on Netflix.

This was awesome. The characters were entertaining and the suspense was killing me. Not a high body count but man was it gory. I loved the little girl, what an evil little bitch lmao i loved her transformation from spoiled little brate to damaged child. That was nice. I hated how they made the pregnant lady do everything, that pissed me off. I enjoyed this more than Devil and suggest you guys give it a go.

I liked this a decent amount, but a few of the characters annoyed me so much that I don't think I'd be able to ever sit through it again.

Yeah, it was a well made movie, but I was miserable when I watched it because of the characters.

I really hope that was the intention lol. I'm pretty sure it was though so I don't really consider that a flaw. I just hate that they let all of the hateable characters live.

I liked the movie Devil (2010) and also liked the movie Blackout (IV) (2008)

All three of these have on thing in common, is that most of movie takes center stage in the Elevator and they all very different in a way

This movie was a lot better then I thought it would, it had some decent cast, some were not likable.

I thought the movie flowed really well from to start to end, even it just one location.

There one really bloody moment in this movie, which wasn't to much.

i Thought the movie was Entertaining
