Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Four young girls on a camping trip in the woods are stalked by a pair of crazed serial killers.

I'm getting "The Forest" vibes off this one.

I want to know who was responsible for the cover art since the eyes are the identical to the ones from The Forest.

This seems like it could be good.

An unusual cover but the plot seems fine.

Is this on Youtube yet? I highly doubt it's going to get redistributed anytime soon.

This is one of those odd little slashers (using the term loosely here!) where 90% of the kills take place in the...first ten minutes. Yes. And the only big slashing is in that time so don't expect much in the way of kills. The opening isn't as great as it sounds though. In fact its a jumbled mess with next to nothing to do with the plot and is pretty incoherent. We don't meet our core cast until roughly twenty minutes in and by the time we meet them, there's only 55 minutes of the movie left.

The desert setting, sheer brutality of the assaults and some pretty discomforting and meanspirited scenes are what saved this from being a complete disaster since the gore was lacking and the characters left a lot to be desired. Surprisingly, there's some genuine tension here and a few parts that made me feel....pretty fucking icky, haha. I love how this had the whole 'female empowerment' thing going on without being too heavyhanded with it, and the ending was infuriating (but then I ended up feeling

). This wasn't exactly a GOOD film and its clear that it rode the coattails of various Rape/Revenge and College Slasher films but it had a bit of trashy charm and edge to it. Not sure if I recommend it to EVERYONE here since it is a bit hard to swallow, especially with the shitty opening lol. 5/10 quality. 6/10 entertainment.

SO RANDOM! This got a blu-ray release very recently. I'm considering buying it but the newer releases of Twisted Nightmare, Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker, and Deadly Dreams are definitely bigger priorities for me.

Ended up buying it since I found it for only $13. Haven't rewatched it yet but the case looks great. Slasher Video is womderful.

Good lord, the bluray looks terrible lol. Sounds bad too.

Still better than the VHS rip I watched on Youtube though.
