Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

On an isolated island, a small group of people are terrorized by giant voracious shrews in the midst of a hurricane.

Oh my gosh, the shrews were basically dogs with rags and random cloths thrown on top hahahaha. I remember asking .... "Since when do shrews bark?" Har de har....

I watched this movie lastweek on TMC. It was suppose to take place at an island, but it was filmed outside of Dallas, TX. I think they did a good job with the hand puppets and dresses up dogs as big shrews. I would like to see the 2012 sequel.

I loved how the shrews were so obviously dogs (lol) I liked this movie though. It was entertaining and moved quickly. I'm not exactly sure why it got a random sequel in 2012 though (wary)
