The psychiatrist and host of the radio talk show Talk Line, Dr. Sonny Blake, returns to Rosewood Lane, in Stillwater, one year after the death of her father to live in his house. Sonny was raised with brutality by her father and is a traumatized woman that was submitted to therapy by Dr. Cloey. Sonny's boyfriend, the DA Barrett Tanner, helps her to bring her things to her new home. On the arrival, her next door neighbor advises Sonny that the paperboy is a dangerous weirdo. Sonny finds that the paperboy has broken in her house and might have killed her father, but Detectives Briggs and Sabatino do not believe on Sonny and think that it is her imagination. Is Sonny freaking out or is the paperboy an evil being?

This was decent. It's not the best suspenseful movie I seen. It got good when the killings started which sucks because usually I love suspenseful movies before the killings start. and yea the killings took very long for it to happen. I didn't like the main girl. She gave me a bitchy vibe. The killer was actually creepy though especially around the end when

not a fan of the ending though. it was weird

The characters made stupid decisions which annoyed me especially the cops. omg The plot didn't even go with the story. Like there wasn't much of Sonny's father that you think would be revealed. No twist whatsoever if you like twists.

Gah sounds like a mixed bag. :x I still may see it at some point though but, like the past few months, its not much of a huge priority for me to see.

actually the ending does have a twist but it's a terrible twist. It's not a predictable twist but it was really stupid. I do agree it's a mixed bag. Oh yea almost all of the killings were off screen.

I didn't really care for it at all. I love Rose McGowan but she was terrible in this.

She was Tatum in Scream, and was in tons of other stuff.

But yeah, I didn't like this much.

I heard mixed things about this though most of them were negative. I'm also not a huge Rose fan.

If people don't make stupid choices, the movies would finish faster.

I saw the trailer and it looked like a decent little thriller. I'll see it if pops up On Demand or something, but I won't go out of my way to see it.

Finished it. This is definitely one of the best horror/thrillers of the past few years. Rose Mcgowan portrays a grieving woman who returns to her childhood home where her abusive father was found dead. She ends up being stalked by a psychopathic paper boy as those close to her wind up dead. The suspense is classic Salva and there were a lot of subtle reminders of the original Jeepers Creepers here. Rose does a great job as the main woman and gives a strong performance. Lin Shaye only has a small cameo of sorts so don't expect much from her. Rosewood Lane was like a novel that I couldn't put down- the movie builds and builds and builds to one hell of a shocking climax.

Say what you want about Victor Salva- but the man knows how to craft suspense. 9/10 But I'm a nut for thrillers.
