Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

The Doyle family moves to rural California to start a new life; perhaps a strange choice because their new life takes on the form of running the long abandoned Fowler Brothers Funeral Home. The locals fear the place, and there are whispers around town that the land the home lies on is haunted. The Doyle family will soon discover that something lurks beneath the soil -- something that raises rotten corpses from their long forgotten graves and feeds on death itself.

This gives me a walled in (movie) vibe to it. I would like to see this.

Ehh don't get your hopes up. This was easily one of Hooper's most disappointing efforts. I liked the first hour a lot. The son and gay best friend were adorable, the setting was fantastic and it had a decent enough atmosphere. Unfortunately, the last twenty minutes turned into a laughable, almost unbearable at times CGI fest. Think PS1 level graphics mixed in with screaming actors. Tragic since this could have been amazing and some parts of the first hour came close to BEING amazing but the whole thing came crashing down with its third act. Urgh.

I heard this was pretty mixed. It looks like dumb fun but I'm not expecting anything much.

This isn't a bad movie. The ending sucks, but it's a decently entertaining TV-movie-grade fare horror flick.

Plus it has Dan Byrd, who is always cute.

I remember the gay best friend being pretty likeable. Otherwise this was a meh-factory

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
