Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

What are some storylines (not just scenes and death orders) you would change? Why do you feel that those changes would be an improvement over the way the film is now?

Eh, there's not much I can really think of (strictly speaking for the first). I would have liked them to have a quieter moment where they discuss what happened before they woke up in the Cube. We know about Halloway and I believe Leaven said her story; but we learn nothing about Quentin, Rennes, Worth, Kazan or even Alderson. Sure it doesn't really matter, but it would be nice to learn more about them as people instead of seeing the destruction of their psyche, the paranoia and hysteria talk for them.

Can't you see it? The effects of cinema violence on society?

The only one I would change would be Cube Zero.

The more the sequels tried to explain things that the first film never did, the worst the series got.

I'm fine with Hypercube, but Zero really shat on its audience.

Keep things in the cube. Keep us in the dark. Never underestimate mystery.

It's frustrating when the answers raise more questions than actually answering anything.

Why does it matter if you believe in God or not?

I think that Simon is too similar to Quentin and that Cube 2 would be better if he played a smaller role. An interesting twist on the plot could be to have two Simons like there was an alternate Jerry. One could be with Kate doing sane detectiving while the other has the scene where he's implied to go insane earlier but follows the rest of the storyline.
