Just before Halloween, three young brothers alone in a big house are menaced by three escaped mental patients who have murdered some traveling circus clowns and taken their identities.

This film is notorious for the director molesting and having sexual encounters with one of the children on set.

It's on YouTube in its entirety if anybody is interested - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0lb2dh3hio

This was shot REALLY well and the musical score was pretty decent. The mom reminded me of Dee Wallace, it sucks that she didn't stick around since I probably would've liked this more if the whole family were being stalked and attacked by the three clowns instead of JUST the three (annoying) brothers. Tbh, I was tempted to shut it off when they showed the little boy's bare ass and kept showing the younger brothers wearing thin pajama pants, especially because of what happened behind the scenes. *Shudders*
Was the fortune teller a man in drag? I honestly couldn't tell. The oldest brother (the douche one) was...pretty cute lol. I wish more kills had happened at the carnival instead of just a trio of totally offscreen ones. There were a couple of okay jumpscares and some nice moments that seemed to build up to scares (the balloon making, anyone?). The clown costumes were creepy but didn't really bother me, but by the end of the film all but one of them became clumsy, borderline annoying and completely laughable.
Aside from the foul language, this thing could've EASILY gotten away with a PG or PG-13 rating which is a VERY bad thing since I expected a home invasion/slasher sort of film. Way too kid friendly and I didn't care for any of the deaths, high as the bodycount was. The ways of dispatching the

The best things about this? Atmosphere, house, main clown villain, axe to the back. All three brothers annoyed me, especially Casey with his wimpy fear of clowns (I'll never understand that fear, to me its embarrassing) and the brother with the glasses who kept making his voice deeper than it was in order to sound 'tough.' Puh-leese. Surprisingly, I liked Randy the most which is a fail on the filmmakers' part since he was meant to be hated lol.

The ending was decent and suspenseful, as were other parts but as a whole this was way too watered down and kid sister friendly for my liking. Glad I watched it on youtube instead of spending money on the overpriced DVD.

6.5/10 quality. 6/10 entertainment.

I didn't notice the obvious pedophilia in this film until much later. Now, it's incredibly obvious how much of a creep Salva is with this movie.

I know that seen this movie before, I could not remember much about so gave it another, it's been Years since, I see it.

This sure felt like this movie was made for kids. it was like Goosebumps episode but not that good,

I just could not get into the movie, I did see the whole movie, I was bored most of the movie

I didn't find it creepy or scary at all and find those boys really annoying for most of the movie,

Someone scene were so stupid, a clown bangs his hair NOT his head on roof and knocked out cold, REALLY?

If you find Clowns scary, this might work for you but this didn't make me scared or even make me laugh.

Now I know why it's taking me this long to re-watch this movie

I think it could've been better. Clowns are creepy, but if you've seen
"It" & "Killer Klowns from Outer Space," this hardly compares.
