Psycho (1959) is a suspense novel by Robert Bloch. It was adapted into Alfred Hitchcock's seminal 1960 film of the same name.

Bought this at a thrift store. It was an 1998 re-issue cashing in on the remake. I was actually hoping to find PSYCHO 2.

I read this a few months ago, couldn't quite get behind an overweight Norman though. I just imagined Anthony Perkins the entire time. Pretty good read!

I enjoyed reading this. The movie is better, but I think there's plenty more here to work with. The remake should have been more like the book. I like the opening chapter, which really throws the reader off. And Norman's talk with Sam at the end is genuinely creepy.
