I haven't seen the trailer yet, but the premise and the review sound great. I especially liked the review and how they would say "Remember this? Remember that?" I say that a lot too. Lol.

Planning on buying this soon. Can't remember if I've asked, but how are the DVD features, if there are any?

This was fairly decent but could have been much, much better. It had some likeable characters, funny lines, and a couple of average kills but it also had a ridiculous ending and I didn't care for the killer's identity and motive. The structure was spot on though and at times it really did feel like an 80s slasher film (minus the technology, wardrobe, and so on, of course).

I liked it on my first viewing but that's probably since I watched a horrible movie beforehand. I saw this again two weeks ago and I really wasn't impressed. The kills were cool and it wasn't bad for a film with this type of budget but I don't know what I saw in this watching it for the first time. 3/10

If the DVD actually had features I'd probably own this by now. :/

I was thinking about how much I liked Varsity Blood the other day, so I might need to dig my copy of this out and rewatch it one day that I'm off.

I plan on having a double feature sometime, though Varsity Blood is definitely the better of the two.

Liking Varsity Blood didn't make me magically like this one more. It's still not bad, but it definitely isn't as fun as Varsity Blood.

Gotta love that stolen poster.

I was going to give this a skip until someone told me the gay guy was the lead, which I thought sounded like a cool change up to the slasher formula and decided to give it a go. He... Wasn't. And this was absolutely horrid. The kills are dumb, the atmosphere is terrible, the characters are one note, the acting is painful (the girl playing the heroine is especially wretched. She actually forgets her lines during the takes), it brings nothing remotely new to the table.... Oh yeah, and the killer is a ripoff of Mrs. Loomis, and it's kind of painful. Especially the actress who gives a poor man's Laurie Metcalfe immitation. Easy 1/10

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

Oops, I just put my review of The Guest in the wrong thread. My bad.

But definitely agreed with Repo. This movie sucks.
