A virus, originating from a chicken nugget, turns the pre-pubescent kids of an elementary school into violent savages. The teachers find themselves trapped in the school, and must fight their way through the feral, flesh-ripping little monsters to save their lives.

Alison Pill(The Newsroom) as Lucy, a happy-go-lucky fourth grade teacher, and Clint’s childhood crush.

Jack McBrayer (30 Rock)

Jorge Garcia

Nasim Pedrad

Leigh Whannell

^ You should watch High School Of The Dead (anime series) and some of the other movies that handled school zombies better. I was more satisfied by the ten minute school scene in Resident Evil: Apocalypse than I was with the deaths in this. That says a lot since I don't like Apocalypse much.

I still don't mind this though.
I'll try it! Kinda disappointing to hear about that, but considering Cooties was more of a family movie, it makes sense that they couldn't do dramatic deaths. I'm actually kind of surprised they even had deaths, to be honest. I expected a bunch of zombie kids to take over a school, adults fight back, kids are cured, the end. Still fun, though.

It's rated R.

I think it's the humor that makes it more inappropriate for kids than the violence.

Agreed. Any film that uses the word "cunt" isn't something I'd show my children, to be honest lol.

^ I would. But I'm a generally bad person who would probably be one of those parents who are seen as a terrible influence for what I let my kids watch. (lol)

Yeah. It has nothing to do with your movie taste. Never have kids. Period.

Meanwhile while I'm showing my kids inappropriate Horror movies you'll be leaving your kids at home alone while you're looking for a new man each night. (coffee)

Best Friend Character

Well, I finally got around to seeing this one. Not as great as I hoped it would be, but not a complete waste of time. There are pacing issues and even problems with some of the characters, including Elijah Wood's character. I for one am tired of having a lead character be a writer, but that's just me.

The opening credits were very disturbing. The most upsetting part about the movie, if you ask me. Trigger warning for sure. If you like eating chicken nuggets. Even more so if you don't.

The best character has to be Leigh Whannell's, which really surprised me. Followed by Alison Pill's, then Rainn Wilson's, and finally Elijah Wood's character.

I don't mind the love triangle stuff, but that wasn't really necessary, IMO. Other characters could have had more to do too, like Jack McBrayer's character and the two kids that end up with our lead group.

I agree with Jon that this is more in line with Zombieland than it is Shaun of the Dead.

Certainly worth a look, but not a necessity. The ending leaves room for a sequel, which wouldn't be a bad thing. I just hope they take note and make a better movie if they end up making one. The ending is too abrupt though also. So . . .

The best kills have to be with that baseball dispenser (lol)
