I keep seeing this on Netflix but I've avoided it because I figured it was just another shit-flick. Any good? If so, I may watch it this weekend. (thumbsup) Good kills, a good chase or two, and an okay atmosphere and location = my only required elements lol.

I've only seen it once, and from what I remember it was pretty decent. Nothing fantastic though. Just a typical slasher :)

That's fine with me as long as it isn't the BAD kind of time-waster. :P

Not seen or heard of it, but the plot seems okay and poster looks good.

Gave this one a watch about a week ago and I never thought I'd say this but...

the slasher portion (the first 45 minutes) of this SUCKED in comparison to the second half of the film, where it turns from a cheap slasher to a pretty suspenseful and effective thriller. It could've easily kept the killer faceless, the lead girl a random final girl, and a 20+ bodycount (all shitty kills, mind you) but nope...it actually had a bit of brains to it, though it's not on the level of Seven or anything like that. The final confrontation was pretty awesome and I loved the last scene in particular. The killer was attractive but really creepy and intimidating despite being rather softspoken. I just wish the slasher side of this had been better. Instead, we got shitty characters, shitty kills, and a location that was cool at first but wore out its welcome with a quickness. 7/10

I'd give it a 6/10. From what I remember John was right, the first part of the film was extremely lame. That said the "twist" was interesting and I thought the killer was effective, but other than that I don't remember much else, and that's how forgettable this movie is.
