Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Scream 3 andScream 4. Two sloppy films that became what the first two poked fun at

3 and 4, only because 1 and 2 are far far superior films.

There isn't imo a shockingly bad film in the franchise just better ones.

1 and 3. Sorry 1 was just decent compared to 2 and 4. 3 was a mess of characters.

3 was a mess of characters.
That's how I feel about 3 AND 4. >_>

Scream 3 - Scooby Doo in a Hollywood setting, the trio at their worst, shitty characters aside from two or three of the new ones, piss poor kills that were dull (the only great death scene was the mansion-triple-kill and even then it was JUST because the scene itself was good), a forced reveal, forced motive, and tried too hard to be funny.

Scream 4 - Self-loving overly-meta thing that tried too hard to be witty, clever, and was overly glossy. Shortest running time, biggest bodycount, overly insensitive characters, rushed pacing, poorly executed finale (the house was fine, the hospital was ridiculous), underused trio (aside from Sidney), too many characters with less than three minutes of screentime (Marnie, Jenny, the other four opening girls, Hoss, Perkins, Kate...), too many moronic 'haha look at me being witty and funny' one-liners that fell flat.

3 & 4. They're good, but not as good as the first 2 films.

2 and 3 but I love them all. I just prefer 4 as a movie to 2 instead of quality.

3 and 4. Both good films, but so so so so sloppy compared to 1 and 2.

Parts 3 and 4. Three was not good at all, in any way. And part 4 was aggressively mediocre. Whereas the first is a certified modern classic, and part 2 was about as good a sequel as you could have hoped for based on the material.

2 and 3. I guess I'm kinda biased because even though 2 was probably technically better than 4, I much prefered the actors/actresses in 4. Also 1 is probably my favourite horror film of all time so yeah, 3 had to go as well.
