Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

The Halloween series (not the Rob Zombie garbage, that stuff was terrible,) Scream, Insidious, Blair Witch, and, my personal favorite, The Thing.

The Halloween series of course, but I always watch The Exorcist, The Amityville Horror, Dark Night Of The Scarecrow, Trick 'R Treat, Frankenstein, and anything else I can squeeze in from my collection.

I just noticed we had this thread, but I guess it isn't too late. I'm still deciding what I want to watch on Halloween.

On Halloween day I'll be watching both of the Rob Zombie Halloweens, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and if there's still time; one or two older horror movies I've been recording on TCM.

Without a doubt Halloween 6 then Halloween 6 Producers Cut, Trick r Treat, All Hallows Eve, maybe Re-Animator even though I just watched it. Also I usually watch Dead Alive on Halloween.

COUNTERPHOBIA: The pursuit of situations and instances in direct relation to an individual's fear for the purpose of overcoming this fear, or to find pleasure or excitement in it. Symptoms of counterphobia while subjecting oneself to these fears can include trembling or shaking, shortness of breath, and even panic attacks. You were warned.

WELCOME HOME tells the tale of John Lester, a man who inherits his old family home - and with it a dark secret.

CHUCKLES THE CLOWN delves into Jake's fear of clowns and gives him even more reason to be afraid of them.

NO ONE LIVES FOREVER follows Jacob as he narrowly avoids a fatal accident though finds out there's more to it than he thought.

Face your fears as you read through these stories and more in this menagerie of works that includes a little something for all kinds of horror fans.

Did you know Peter Jackson was born on Halloween? I didn't know until this year, and I think it's kind of sweet that I've been accidentally celebrating his birthday with watching Dead Alive on Halloween.

I want to have a marathon of the original Dead trilogy. As well as an Exorcist marathon, since I have the first one on VHS while III and the two prequels are on Crackle. I'm fine skipping Heretic. Not to mention I have two episodes from The Exorcist Season 2 I need to watch.

It would be nice to have a Universal Frankenstein marathon which would include Young Frankenstein and God and Monsters.

I really want to watch Friday the 13th movies on Friday. Being an actual Friday the 13th and all.

I gave up on the AMC Fear Fest so I just stick to the usual Svengoolie on Saturday nights.
