"Warner Bros. Pictures has slated their found-footage Into The Storm for an August 8, 2014 release.

Final Destination 5‘s Steven Quale directed the flick about a group of high school students document the events and aftermath of a devastating tornado.

Richard Armitage, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jeremy Sumpter all star.

Quale is an effects guru who worked with James Cameron. I thought FD 5 was pretty great, which makes me insanely excited to see what he can do with a modern day Tornado."

Pretty sure it'll be given a wide release but it might as well be limited due to all the backlash.

I don't think I'll be seeing this. I'm just not a fan of disaster movies.

Well at least that's a GOOD reason for not seeing it (unlike "Waaaagh, it involves a tornado so its automatically JUST like a movie made almost two decades ago, this SUX!") (lol)

I totally forgot to mention it, but I got a GTM survey about one of the trailers.

Bloody Disgusting had a new(?) trailer. There's a new poster, too. Google Image Search didn't bring up any not huge ones, so I put it under a spoiler. I like this one better than the one with the bus.

World wide, I'm seeing teaser trailers here and cinema posters here. The last disaster movie I saw was 2012, I don't think I'll watch any for a while.

I think I'm subconsciously preparing myself to see this by watching tons of disaster movies from the 1970s and stuff. (lol)

LOL aaaaand the comparisons to Twister continue! I can sort of see the resemblance after seeing the second trailer, but for the most part, it really seems that like...20% of the movie is going to involve storm chasing and the other 80% is going to involve the tornados themselves and the devastation they cause. I also like that there's a *little* humor here, just to take the edge off. It still looks scary as fuck though. (cry)

Ehh Twister was pretty awesome despite the fact that it took no big risks when it came to deaths. This seems alot meaner than Twister, even if it isn't as good quality wise.
