Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

How annoying some of the characters were like from tcm next gen
Some of the kills were weak. They needed more toture in it (well not in all of them some of them were good with it)

The uneven quality and storylines of the original franchise. The characters aren't always that interesting either.

A lot of the rather dull, boring protagonists.
Humor that often falls flat.
TCM 3 and The Next Generation not doing a good job of connecting to the original.

Most of the films sticking so close to the formula, they come off like rehashes of the original.

The loose, disjointed continuity of the earlier films, and even the more recent ones. Including the remake and its prequel.

Constant sequel bait. Is TCM 2 really the closest we'll ever have to closure? Just kill Leatherface already.

The new movie brought back Marilyn Burns... and yet she's NOT playing Sally Hardesty?

Entries like the prequel, which pump up the gore for the sake of gore.

There's more, but I don't want to try and single them out too much.
