 You all are crazy with all the movie watching! :)

Ok, I was afraid to post in this Thread because you all were sticklers for sticking to the required formatting. So, if this post has broken the rules and needs to be deleted I understand, but I see a few broke away so I decided to risk it. :)

So, Halloween is about twenty minutes over. I used to get REALLY bummed out at midnight the day after, but the last few years have been better. This year I'm kinda bummed again though. :( Just love this time of year, now snow and Turkeys...blah blah blah.

So, I did not watch 31 movies, and I did not keep track of the dates of what I watched. I did watch quite a bit of horror, and children's Halloween type shows. Ended up finishing off October with two spectacular movies.

Watched all The Walking Dead.

A Magic Puppy AKA A Halloween Puppy - Eric Roberts and Evan Crooks. Delightfully horrible.

Dreamworks Spooky Stories - With Shrek and gang. Actually very funny and entertaining and I saw it 1000 times.

The Stranger - Ended up finishing it. Did not like it at all

 ^ Hope you had a good Halloween too! :) And don't worry, we're mostly just sticklers when it comes to certain things when it comes to formatting (including a plot description and poster when making a thread for a specific movie, trying to avoid duplicates - which I even fail at, lol, structure of RPGs, etc). With this, I just provided the usual structure to make it easier for people. :P

Don't feel bad about not keeping track of the DAYS you watched things either. As far as I know, only one or two people on here did this as a 'day to day' thing. Most of us just numbered the movies and didn't pay attention to "October 1st, October 2nd, and so on."

 AH SHIT YOU BEAT ME! (lol) You watched 104, I watched 102.

Don't feel bad about posting thoughts though. I'm still catching up when it comes to doing the same. This is why I'm glad I only watched like 30 movies for the first time in October (the other 70 were rewatches). No way would I be able to review over 100 movies in 31 days. Screw that lol.

 Well, maybe this'll make you feel better: that was only about 85% of what I actually wanted. If I got to all of them, I'd be up around 130 or so.

And actually I did the 104 reviews. They're all on my IMDb account, it's just now bringing them over to here. Just no way I'm doing them all at once, so I decided on the more reasonable decade range that's implemented here. But more than anything this October challenge caused me to finish off 5 whole franchises (including some that were started before and I just managed to finish off the remaining ones):

Child's Play
Evil Dead
Friday the 13th
Halloween
Scream

I'll have their input done once I finish off with the other sections here first.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

 Awesome. :) Yeah, I didn't get to everything I wanted to watch either. I missed quite a few that aired on TCM but I recorded a bunch of them so I'll just watch them over the next couple months instead. For now though, I'm just focusing on 2015 releases until the end of the year.

No, I know, it's just that last year I didn't really make an effort to watch many new flicks, like I used to up until around '05 or so. It's just that very little that has come out in the last ten years that has appealed to me, so I seldom bother with a new horror flick unless it's something that's been getting really good notices, or if it features someone or was made by someone of whom I'm a fan. I very rarely go blindly into a new movie like I used to back in the day, because after a few thousand movies, you eventually get tired of being disappointed. So I'm trying to be a bit more open-minded this season with newer flicks. I doubt I'll have any new favorites come November 1st, but for the first time in many years, I'll be making more of an effort to find one.
