Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Self explanatory, mostly. What are some things involving the making of these films that you'd want to know about and that you feel should be addressed in a documentary of the series?

Note; making these threads for films that ALREADY have documentaries. After all, there's no way we know EVERYTHING about all of these films and franchises and I'm sure we're all still curious about a lot of things that went on behind the scenes and with the development of the films.

If they were going to do a third film set in the Platinum Dunes universe, what were the original plans?

What happened to Stretch, Michelle, Erin, Sally, and Jenny after the events of their films?

If TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D was going to have five sequels, what the hell were they gonna do, or as for story goes did they even think that far ahead?

New Line planned a TCM 4 and a TCM 5. I heard Leatherface was supposed to be unmasked in 5, but what else?

Was there a script for the unproduced TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: TX25, and what was it about?

Why was Sally Hardesty not brought for the sequels, excluding her cameo in 4? Or any previous character for that matter.

Why did Sally Hardesty become Sally Hardesty-Enright? Lefty was her uncle.

Kim Henkel once planned a sequel BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. Tell us more.

Why the hell is their a cut and uncut TCM 4? And why hasn't the uncut version been given a wider release? It's not gory or anything.

Did they ever explain why RETURN OF THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE became TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE NEXT GENERATION?

Why chop off Leatherface's arm in the remake when a sequel probably would've been more interesting than a prequel.

Whoa, I didn't know that. Sounds like it might've been campy like Next Gen.
