Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Simple.

One person makes an "Agree or disagree" comment about the series.
The next person states whether or not they agree with the previous statement, AND makes a statement of their own.
The third person does the same as the second, but responds to the second person's statement and not the first person's.

Get it?

The first person to post in this thread after me can go ahead and start this off. :)

Scream 4's alternate opening was better than it's theatrical

Agreed

Some of the series' fans are some of the most defensive and obsessive in the Horror genre lol.

Agreed. Maybe we're just the most passionate and protective. Or we're just psycho's! Lol!

Gale's hair in the 3rd movie was terrible and we all try and forget about it!
If you were the only suspect in a senseless bloodbath - would you be standing in the horror section?

Probably a bit of both, especially the psycho bit. ;)

Agree or Disagree; you do NOT want there to be a Scream 7, 8, 9 and so on.

Agree, just let the series go before it suffers from Final Destination syndrome.

Jill is the least effective villain.

Can't you see it? The effects of cinema violence on society?

Disagree. She's in the middle for me lol.

Scream makes teenagers look like uncaring, desensitized pricks. (lol)

True

CeCe should have had more screen time.

Agree even though I don't think she was that great. Better than Derek's singing ass though.

Gus was underused.

You wish that Mary McDonnell and Lauren Graham could have both been in Scream 4.

Agree. Wouldve been nice.

Marnie and Olivia should've traded places in the death order in 4.

Agree. If it's better than Scream 4. ONLY if it's better.

They should've kept Dewey dead in the first Scream instead of having him alive in the ambulance in the last scene.

Scream 2 would've made a good ending to the series.

Derek's singing in the cafeteria was embarrassing.

Agree... But it was sweet, nonetheless. It still felt like it belonged in a different movie, though... Like something out of Dawson's Creek. I guess it shows you can take Kevin Williamson out of Dawson's Creek, but you can't take the queenie gay teen boy out of Kevin Williamson.

Scream 4 has the best soundtrack.

When it comes to songs, agree. When it comes to the musical score, disagree.

Scream 5, if made, should have only one killer revealed in the film with one killer still unrevealed at the end (giving us a cliffhanger to talk about and a good jumping off point for Scream 6)

Agreed. Even though, I admit, I am a sucker for the fact that the first 3 Screams all had squeaky-clean happydappypappy endings.

The lack of Red Right Hand in Scream 4 was disappointing.
