Simple.

One person makes an "Agree or disagree" comment about the series.
The next person states whether or not they agree with the previous statement, AND makes a statement of their own.
The third person does the same as the second, but responds to the second person's statement and not the first person's.

Get it?

The first person to post in this thread after me can go ahead and start this off. :)

Well I think Scream 5 should have a bleak, mean ending while 6 can have a happy ending to bring it back around. :P

And disagree. I HATE that song. (wary)

This series really isn't all that great when it comes to red herrings.

Agreed. Sort of. The first Scream's red herrings were pretty well-done, but kind of over-obvious...

And then Scream 2 and 3's killers were both kind of out of left field and contrived, even though I love Mrs. Loomis.

And Scream 4, the red herrings were TOO obvious. Trevor was too creepy, as well Deputy Hicks, making it so obvious they were just herrings.

Tatum's death is the best kill in the entire series.

Disagree. It's a good kill but she looks like a blow up doll when her head gets crushed.

A new (to the series, that is) writer should write the next script.

Agree. As much as I like Scream 4, it's proof that Kevin is kind of tired, and any time a scene is bad, the fans are going to blame Ehren. Maybe someone like Diablo Cody, as she's proven that she's capable of writing good teen horror, but also that she's capable of toning down the quirky hipster dialogue.

Maybe a new director for a possible Scream 5?

Disagree. I don't see a clear direction it would go anyway, unless Sid just goes nuts and massacres everyone and it ends there.

Joel should have had more screen time.

Can't you see it? The effects of cinema violence on society?

Agreed<3.

The TV series needs to have a really high bodycount.

I agree, or let the effects make up for low numbers.

Mrs. Loomis was the most calculating of the killers.

Disagree. Purposefully getting arrested to prove your innocence is too good of a gambit.

The movies didn't show enough good things about Maureen Prescott.

Agree

It's out of character for Sidney to write a book and come back to Woodsboro after Scream 3

Disagree. Kate and Jill were there and it kind of felt like she forced herself (or was forced) to go back. If she didn't have relatives to stay with, I would be kind of iffy about it.

The 'two killers' thing is kind of old now.

Agree. The second killer thing can be a bit lazy.

The announcement that Ti West is directing at least one episode of the show is exciting.

He is?! AGREED! (goo)

The TV series should have multiple killers with one revealed a little over halfway into it and the other revealed in the finale (instead of BOTH being revealed at once).

That could work. So, yeah. Agree. Have one of the killers fall on the sword, so to speak. Just so the other killer can continue with the plan without interference from the police.

Randy and his sister should have never appeared in Scream 3. So forced.

Scream 4 should've never happened.

Ehh, disagree. I don't love it but it still beats Scream 3 and if not for Scream 4, we probably wouldn't have gotten the show (which is better than 3 and almost as good as 4 with the potential to beat 4...but I know it won't be better than the first two).

Cici, Sarah and Rebecca all should've lived a bit longer in 2, 3, and 4 than they did.

Agreed. They're three of my favorite characters in the series.

Kevin's original script idea for Scream 2 with Derek and Hallie being killers, as well as Cotton turning on Sidney at the end, would've been a better Scream 2 than what we got.

Disagree. I like that Cotton grew as a character and that Derek wasn't just killer boyfriend #2 (I still don't care for him though). Hallie would've been a good killer though.

Sidney going from strong at the end of 2 to weak and reclusive in 3 was a bad route to take.

Agree. I mean, Scream 2's ending does virtually the same thing as Scream 3's does, but it angers me that Scream 2 has this message of "Sidney is letting go of her past and is going to live her life" tone to it, with th cheesy wideshot of her walking down the street like a total boss to "She Said" by Collective Soul. It's just so uplifting to an almost cheeseball extreme... To think she'd be a total recluse using the name Laura, living with a dog in the middle of the forest with a ton of high-tech security systems is just annoying to me. It would've been better if, in Scream 3, she was in the place she had been in at the start of Scream 4... A place of peace, power, and happiness.

"Oh, please don't kill me, Mr. Ghostface. I wanna be in the sequel!" is one of the best lines in the series.
