Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

I wouldn't really consider Scream 3 a whodunit, but I guess it could count.

Home for the Holidays is definitely one of my favs.

A lot of the old giallos from the 70s are amazing at doing this, as Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Deep Red and Black Belly of the Tarantula would be among the best ones to offer a surprising amount of clues to make you figure out whodunit. I'll also second the notion of Identity which was quite effective at that route.

Least favorite would be Scream 2, merely because of how utterly stupid and moronic the twist actually is and how lame they set-up the clues to unravel about the identity of the killer. It's not a reflection on the movie itself (it's my favorite of the series) but this is the lone weakness in the film, it's whodunit aspects.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs.

The Lodger (1944) and The Scarlet Claw (a Sherlock Holmes story, also 1944). Those old Sherlock Holmes movies were excellent.
