Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

You can go one-by-one (one movie per post) if you want. What was your first experience with each film? Did you see it in theaters? Was it crowded? Were you at home? Was it on TV? Or do you not remember?

Leprechaun:
Either rented it from a local video store and not a chain store, or caught it on TV somewhere. It scared my sister more than it did me.

Leprechaun 2:
Just bits and pieces of it when it was on TV during a Leprechaun marathon

Leprechaun 3:
Most likely rented it from Hollywood Video and just loved the ever-loving shit out of it

I don't remember when, but I know that I saw the first one at my grandmother's house. She usually has really classy taste, but she apparently likes the first Leprechaun movie.

I streamed Leprechaun Origins.

I know that I saw the rest of them in middle and high school. I saw the Hood ones on a snow day, because I remember being annoyed that I couldn't go somewhere that had food.

I saw two of them with a guy I was seeing, who is actually the same guy that I'm dating right now. Whatever one I hadn't seen after that I rented.
