Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

"Supposedly based partially on a true story, a woman is tormented and sexually molested by an invisible demon."

The plot sounds like another movie I know about. Don't remember title. But the plot sure sounds common.

This wasn't bad. I liked it.

It's star, Barbara Hershey, won't have anything to do with it.

I am a huge fan of this movie and while he hasn't aged as well as I wish it had (the ending is pretty incredibly bad), the IDEA behind it (more than the one-liner above), I find really intriguing. I like the way they don't do the typical "call a witch doctor" kind of thing or even worse, "Don't tell anyone", and that she's still terrorised in this glass-like protective dome that they doctors have made for her. I've been thinking about talking to the studio about a remake. We'll see what happens.

Nobody else likes this one?

I only saw it once, but I liked it. Apparently, the real woman this was based on continued to be terrorized.

It's really cool that part of this film's score was used in Inglourious Basterds.

That's... Pretty... Terrible and terrifying.

This is a classic horror movie, though. Indeed.

I remember, like, ten years ago they had Hideo Nakata slated to direct the remake... Of course, that never happened, and the remake has been in production purgatory for like twelve years now.

Just finished it and I loved just about everything about it. As for a remake, I would probably trust Blumhouse with it. They have a solid enough track record as far as R Rated paranormal films go.
