A shocking new twist on the familiar tale of Hansel and Gretel, Breadcrumbs finds a group of shady filmmakers falling prey to a murderous assailant while shooting an adult film at a remote cottage. Angie thought she had left her sordid past behind when a sleazy producer talked her into making one last movie. But as the cast and crew wind their way through a dense woods in search of their destination, they happen across Henry and Patti, two mysterious young siblings who seem to simply live amongst the trees. Later, after the group reaches the cabin and the cameras start to roll, they come under attack from a psychotic killer. Terrified after witnessing a cold blooded killing, lead actor Billy holds Patti hostage in hopes of warding off the unseen predator. But that only serves to enrage their murderous stalker

So first off, it was nice seeing Kristina Klebe in another Horror (even though her role was miniscule) and it was AWESOME seeing Marianne Hagan again (hadn't seen her in a Horror since the sixth Halloween!). They both did well I suppose, even though Marianne's character pissed me off at times. I understand why her character made weird decisions and acted so over-the-top at times, but it was still grating, and the same goes for some of the random douchebaggery going around 'the set.' However, this had a few really likeable characters (and a few awful ones and thank GOD, ALL the bad ones were actually the first few to die for once!!!) and a couple of admittedly good kills (with the only bad one being a horribly done CGI throat slit that can be forgiven since the other 8-12 were decent enough) along with some attractive characters (the sex scene was pretty hot and I liked that they weren't afraid to show more than just a little male nudity unlike many slashers). The kids were creepy at times (the "MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY" bit and "...but I want to" bit = creepy as fuck) and annoying at others. The house the crew was shooting in was awesome and the woods = the PERFECT location and fit well with the story. Overall, I'd say this was the best I've seen this week (for the first time anyway) and I'll gladly give it a 6-7/10 for quality and 8-9/10 for entertainment.

I assumed the same thing, actually. I've never bothered seeing it since it seemed rather cheesy and the 'bad kind of' low budget but I may see it now. No telling when though since there's plenty for me to get through first.

You should, she did good here. It was odd seeing her star as a...pornstar though lol.

Okay, this was entertaining as hell. Sure, the script and the acting were a bit cringe-worthy at times, but it wasn't distracting or anything. I honestly don't get why it has a 3.1 on IMDb, since It clearly wasn't trying to be anything amazing. Just a slightly different take on the slasher genre, and it worked for me *shrug*

I loved seeing Marianne Hagan again <3 She was definitely my fav in this. I think she should do more horror honestly. She's obviously not the BEST actress, but horror seems to suit her well, and you could tell she did the best with what she had to work with.

The 'twist' was extremely obvious, but it was a fun little movie that I could see myself watching again. Way better than alot of other bargain bin horror movies, that's for sure.

I also didn't even realize the girl at the beginning was Kristina Klebe lol. I knew she was in the movie, but I didn't recognize her, and then I thought she was gonna pull a Blake Lively in Simon Says (lol)
