Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

In a future, dystopian New York City, turf gangs and cops rule the streets. When one gang leader tries to bring all of the gangs together against the cops, Coney Island's The Warriors are framed for his murder and the entire city turns on them.

Omg I have the video game lol my whole family is obsessed with this film. It is pretty entertaining. I think my family liked it more because it took place here so there's a lot of familiar areas.

Terrific film. I first saw the theatrical version on Turner Classic Movies. I own the director's cut which is done with "comic book" style graphics and takes place in the not too distant future.

If you can, try and find the theatrical version on DVD.

This is a cult classic for a reason. Trust me, there is all kinds of cheesy camp in it... but it's honestly pretty good. I like to give it a watch every once in a while.

I didn't know about the different versions, and the one I haven't seen is on YouTube. Hrmmm...
