A group of young friends go hunting during their holidays near a small town in Texas, where the father of one of them own a piece of land. But the place has a legend. Years ago the grandfather stole the land from the Indians and they cursed the family. JARED THIS IS ANOTHER SLASHER AND ITS ON YOUTUBE - GO WATCH IT!

This wasn't anything great (or even original) but it's a decent enough way to spend 80 minutes or so. It has a slightly below average bodycount but a couple of the kills were satisfying despite the fact that it's not a very bloody movie. Unfortunately, it falls apart at the end but that didn't make me hate this or anything.

The rednecks at the beginning were annoying and could not die soon enough! Some of the guys (especially Neil and the front desk guy at the motel) were really cute. The characters were mostly bland but I was able to tell them apart (most of the time anyway) so no harm done there. It had a doomsayer character in the form of a grumpy old gas station owner. We also got lovely dialogue such as "he shot himself or died or...something. By the time they found him he was all eaten up by vultures n' shit!!" This had a random reason for having the characters go without a telephone. The car crash scene was really well done. The sheriff looked like Stephen King. The death order was predictable, this needed more female characters (we had like 2 women and 6-8 men), and the ending was a bit of a mess. The killer's look was average I guess.

Overall, I'd recommend watching it. But chances are that, like me, you'll be fine just seeing it one time.

4/10 quality, 6/10 entertainment.
