Mr. Speaker, though it worries me that there is no public education, having been informed of that fact, I withdraw the education clause. |

The Chair would like to point out that there are public schools as part of the governmental roleplay and that this amendment might affect its operations if formatted as a government roleplay law.

This bill is at debate for 48 hours. The Chair would like to clarify his earlier remarks. There are two types of legislation in the region: regional/forum administration and government roleplay. Currently, as a Constitutional amendment, this bill is a regional administration law and Representative Trovasky is correct in saying that there are no public schools run by the government as part of the forums. It is the opinion of the Chair that the bill would remain ineffectual until such institutions are established in the future. The government roleplay on the other hand does have public education. A collection of previously passed government roleplay laws can be found here at the Library of Congress. The Chair would also like to note that the sponsor of the bill may amend his original post at any time before the vote to make changes, including converting the bill to a government roleplay bill. I support the addition of this clause. I believe that the addition of this clause supports efforts to keep the Allied States aligned with the vision of personal freedom. Aye. |

Mister Speaker, I rise today to raise concerns with the proposed amendment, specifically the phrase prohibiting "teaching religious doctrines". Would this amendment then, I ask my colleagues who support the amendment, outlaw informing students about the Trinity or the five pillars of Islam? Religious doctrines have had a tremendous impact on the history of society and to discount its importance in education is inappropriate in my humble opinion. |
