I know I didn't get elected, but that doesn't mean I can't still propose bills right?

(This may need Revising but:)

Article I:

Section 1: The School Tuitions will now be paid for by the Treasury, instead of the students.

Section 2: The Government will pay 500 AD for each student.

Sure, bills can be proposed in the House but they would have to be sent to the Senate for final approval.

There are a few details that have to be worked out though. What if, for example, a student wanted to take 2 different classes; is the 500 AD a one time subsidy or a recurring one?

Also, the language in Section 1 could be "The Treasury shall be authorized to subsidize the cost of education at Schools and Universities" Section 2 could be "The Treasury shall pay up to $500 per student". Section 1 would be more of a statement of purpose and Section 2 would give the force of law.

OK that looks pretty solidly crafted, now let me ask Keventle who was concerned that this might be price fixing.

hmm.
Teachers are paid on a tuition basis, usually 20% so, $100 a teacher. Which is good. I would rather like to see a weekly subsidy, that can lower costs in the long run and pay teachers weekly, unless you find thats not necessary. No matter, $50 a week or so would help keep costs down on tuition.

Yeah. I really want to know why New Christland Doesn't like this.

Well, he has at least 12 hours to explain!

Actually, I'm gonna extend this to 24 hours since the majority of the first 12 hours are sleeping hours(unless you life in Australia or something)
