Senate Debate Act Written by: Senator CDland (R) Article I: Guidelines on Senate Debate Section 1 1. Debate on the Senate floor, which is hereby defined as the "Debate" and "Voting" subforums within the Senate, shall be restricted to Senators only. 2. The Senate President, or a majority of the Senate may invite speakers who are not members of the Senate to speak on the Senate floor about a specific bill. Section 2 The President is exempt from the provisions of Section 1 of this Article while signing or vetoing a bill in the "Voting" subforum. Section 3 The Senate President may, or a majority of Senators may direct the Senate President to, delete posts or move posts to the "Senate Lobby Forum" which are made contrary to the specifications of Section 1 of this Act. Article II: Creation of an Informal Debate Forum Section 1 The Senate hereby creates a "Senate Lobby" subforum to allow all citizens to present their opinion on bills and issues outside of the debate rules enshrined in this Article. |

I've changed my mind on this; I don't really think it's necessary but I'll create a Senate Lobby forum anyways. |
